Google Calendar sample library for Bungee Connect

imageGoogle’s Calendar API provides developers with full access to Google Calendar. You can build applications to view, create and update calendar events to meet you particular needs.

WideLens™, Bungee Connect’s calendaring reference application, uses Google’s Calendar API to provide a Google Calendar as one of the default calendar types.  To make it easier to use Google’s Calendar APIs with Bungee Connect, we have released a sample library. This library has wrapped the REST calls and takes care of the session management for you. All you need to do is build your app.

googleapitest_thumbnail.pngI built the library and included a test harness so you can see how everything comes together before you start building your app. With the test harness you can:

  1. Login
  2. Get Events for a date range
  3. Add/Remove an Event
  4. Update an Event

You can find the documentation for this library here.

We’re always interested in how you use the library, so let us know. If you don’t already have a Bungee Connect developer account, you can get one here.
